I bought 2 cartons of this to make a chairmat for my wife's home office. The stuff looks great and is durable and I placed it right over the carpet, a really easy install. I ended up wanting to do half of the entire room rather than just under her desk and filing cabinet because it didn't look complete. I looked at my trusty Amazon.com again, and it went from $20 a carton to $51 within a few days. I thought I was looking at the wrong item. I looked at other websites and because other websites charge for shipping, Amazon.com still ended up being the cheapest. So if you see it for a low price again, GRAB IT... I'm not sure why it went up so quickly!! And the shipping was just ok. In each of the cartons, there was 1 damaged plank that I "hid" under the filing cabinet...but there really should have been better cushioned packaging for something like this. It came in the manufacturer's box with no shipping cushion whatsoever and the cardboard box was torn, exposing the planks...Read more

This product had a few defects. I bought about 50 cartons and I'd say there were a total of 3-4 planks that were flawed from the factory. The problem I had was with Amazon's poor packaging and shipping of the product. Several cartons had shipping damage and Amazon was of very little help. Amazon does wel with most items but failed miserably on this one. If you can find this product locally, then you'll do fine.. but do not buy it through Amazon.
